A portfolio manager on MLC's Antares Equities business has taken on a new role at a $7.7 billion listed investment company.
Brett McNeill managed the Antares listed property fund and was the deputy for the Antares dividend builder fund.
He left in July, after more than 14 years with the company.
He is joining the Australian Foundation Investment Company, which is among the largest LICs in the country and had market cap of $7.7 billion at the end of September.

McNeill joins an investment team of nine.
He will cover banks, diversified financials, insurance and real estate investment trusts.
He reports to AFIC's chief investment officer Mark Freeman, who is also the chief executive.
In July, Antares also bid farewell to Richard Dixon, who left the company after 12 years. It recently replenished its team, with a hire from Gandel Group and an internal promotion.
Antares Equities' investment team manages $5.1 billion in assets.
