<p>&quot;Deborah&quot;, I would say to you that there was a PDS provided to your daughter upon joining her fund, it is only 8 pages long and includes details of the insurance cover provided and how to &#39;opt out&#39; if not needed. There was a periodical statement provided to your daughter at least once per year which showed every deduction made for the cost of insurance - it is not hidden.
