<p><p>Scrapping the low income superannuation contribution (LISC) was &quot;the single, most retrograde and regrettable government policy decision made since the establishment of superannuation,&quot; Labor Shadow Treasurer Chris Bowen said.</p>
<p>Totally concur, as was the scrapping of the FHSA scheme which encouraged savings versus provision of larger first home buyer handouts.</p>
<p>Only the retention of the Super Co-Contribution was maintained (a Liberal policy), which to be honest, tends to be used most by couples where one is able to be on a lower income due to the other being on a very significant one.</p>
