<p>Even post-retirement funds need exposure to growth assets.... 30 years is a long time retired, and if your 'defensive' fund is returning Cash/Fixed Interest returns of 5%, Centrelink will soon become very important.
<p>What is wrong with their active managers ensuring sufficient defensive to draw on for 5 years, then use growth assets and dividend income to top up and replentish defensive exposure... beats haveing no growth, or selling growth during flat/negative periods.</p></p><p><a href="">Reply to article</a></p><p>For original story, <a href="">Click Here.</a></p>
