<p>I was originally delighted because when I retire with a small private pension I would probably not be entitled to Guaranteed Minimum Income payment , so a flat rate would suit me. However it now appears that even though I have worked for almost 50 years and had paid enough NI payments to earn a full pension years ago, I will not be entitled to this even though people who have not worked for as long as me will.<br>
