<p>Yes, I agree with John H. Ben is usually a good read. He is a particulary talented and entertaining financial writer. I say usually as I've noticed the only area he needs to study up on is the history of gold. Gold, my dear boy, is what will save this pathetic planet's financial system - not today or even tomorrow but it will and soon. It has been the backstop for most of 4000 years. For some reason Ben is down on gold and as such he argues with established history. I hesitate to call him a Switzer syncopant but it does seem that way sometimes ;-) Surprising too. as gold has been the strongest performing asset class over the last decade!
