<p>If an SOA is taking that length of time, something is wrong. The client will never read it all anyway.<br>SOA's are meant to be a clear and concise summary of the advice so that the client can understand it easily and refer to it whenever needed.<br>It would appear that some planners and advisers are making things far too complicated and probably confusing the client.
