<p>Given the lack of reliable or consistent definitions of terms like "commission", "fee" and "service" it would be worthwhile publishing the research in whole so it can be scrutinised, not just employed by ISN for its own political/commercial gain. Otherwise the claims made by Mr Whitely are all a bit "par for the course" and likely to be ignored. <p>Before jumping to conclusions one should perhaps determine if these"commissions" include fees for initial strategy and risk advice and ongoing advice which consumers often prefer to pay out of their super of pension accounts? Let's get clear on the word "commssion" in financial planning.
