The financial services industry's marketing, advertising and sales excellence awards, the 2016 MAX Awards, will be held on the 23rd of June at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Sydney. Nominations are now open.
The annual event is hosted by Financial Standard and is in its 21st year running. Marketing and communication strategies are becoming even more important as the industry hits the multi-trillion dollar mark. Rainmaker predicts that the size of the wealth management market will surpass $8 trillion by 2035.
The format this year will be different to previous years with new categories introduced and other categories falling under new titles.
There are 22 award categories in total with new categories including: Financial Services App of the Year, Industry Association of the Year and Agency of the Year - Financial Services.
There are team categories launched this year including Marketing Team of the Year, Sales Team of the Year and Client Services of the Year.
And the Oscar highlight of the night would be the awarding of the following: Marketer of the Year, Executive of the Year - Sales and Innovation of the Year.
Details on the nomination can be found here and the deadline for nominations is April 18. Eligible campaigns are those ran between March last year to March this year.
