IQ Group appoints customer advocacy head

Superannuation and wealth management consultant IQ Group has appointed a head of customer advocacy and assurance.

Katherine Forrest was previously a principal consultant with IQ Group; prior to that, she held roles at SunSuper, Equip, Suncorp and superannuation and pension administration specialist AAS.

In her new role, Forrest will oversee the design and implementation of customer advocacy programs for IQ Group clients, which include AustralianSuper, Class Super, Cbus, First State Super, Mercer, MLC, Perpetual, SunSuper and Westpac.

"Core to IQ Group's customer-centric approach is its considerable investment in and commitment to our customer advocacy and assurance team," said IQ Group chief executive Brian Peters.

"By promoting Katherine into this strategically important role, we are able to leverage her proven capacity to build the productive relationships and share the valuable expertise on which IQ Group continues to build its success."

Commenting on her role, Forrest added, "With experience in management, operations and IT development, I've seen the industry from all angles. And I've been on the other side as an IQ Group client. With that deep insight I'm looking forward to being the trusted 'voice of our customers'."
