Challenger has revealed details of its new scholarship program to support the company's commitment to continuing education for financial services and advice professionals.
The scholarship program offers two comprehensive courses: Aged Care Planning and Retirement Planning from the University of New South Wales.
To be eligible, participants must attend all four Challenger Financial Standard Technical Services Forums in 2016 and complete a 250-word submission on why they should win the scholarship.
The submissions will be judged by a committee including executives from Challenger and Financial Standard.
Challenger and Financial Standard have recently partnered to jointly offer an educational technical services program this year.
Challenger general manager, platforms and national key accounts Rommel Hacopian said: "We're committed to supporting the ongoing professional development and standards of the financial services and advice industry.
"There is widespread industry support and increasing recognition for ongoing education particularly to support growing speciality areas like retirement planning and aged care."
Financial Standard head of technical services, Giovanni Munoz, said: "We are proud to partner with Challenger in 2016 because of their demonstrated commitment and focus around ongoing education in the financial services and advice industry. Given the strong focus on continuing education this year, the partnership will benefit a meaningful proportion of the financial services and advice community."
