The Association of Financial Advisers has made three key appointments.
The first, Troy Nutley, joins the AFA as senior adviser, policy and professionalism. Prior to the AFA, Nutley held roles at Centrepoint Alliance and the Financial Ombudsman Service.
"Troy has an impressive financial services background, having consulted to Centrepoint Alliance on professional standards for the past two years," said AFA chief executive Brad Fox.
He added, "He also brings with him a great understanding of consumers, having previously worked as a case manager for the Financial Ombudsman Service. Over a period of seven years, Troy had first-hand experience of consumer disputes and played an important role in helping to resolve them."
Meanwhile, Peter Windle has been appointed general manager, financial operations, having held chief operating officer positions at CTPartners, Johnson Partners and Heidrick & Struggles.
Fox continued, saying that Windle "brings with him a high level of financial management experience and business operations capability and is a welcome addition to the AFA's senior management team."
Finally, Natasha Raleigh has joined as an events associate. She has held similar roles at Styling Australia, HYATT Hotels, Experian and Jim Beam.
