Victorian Funds Management Corporation (VFMC) will be led by a new chief executive officer from February after announcing its replacement for acting chief executive Justin Pascoe.
Joining VFMC as its top executive will be Lisa Gray, who previously spent 12 years with National Australia Bank (NAB) and was most recently group executive enterprise services and transformation.
VFMC chair James MacKenzie said Gray is an outstanding senior financial services executive who brings experience across banking, insurance and superannuation, together with excellent strategic skills and a track record of team leadership and stakeholder engagement.
"I am very confident that Lisa, along with our experienced and talented executive team, will build upon VFMC's recent strong investment and operational performance," MacKenzie said.
Pascoe was both acting chief executive and chief investment officer for the past four months, following the departure of former chief executive Warren Lee in October 2015.
With an 8-14% per annum return objective over the long term, the Pengana PanAgora Absolute Return Global Equities Fund is clearly managed by a team with investment acumen and a well thought out process.
