Checking unit prices on your personal computer is so 2009 - Quadrant Super has launched a new service letting members review their unit prices on their mobile phones.
The fund launched its mobile phone unit pricing service earlier this month, making it one of the first super funds to do so in the country, according to a press statement.
Members simply need to type unitprices.quadrantsuper.com.au into their phone's web browser to access the service.
The Tasmanian fund has also revamped the unit pricing section on its website, allowing members to view their investment values in a graph format.
"You can see how the unit prices have changed over time as market conditions change and you can zoom in on any particular period," noted the fund in a statement.
For those looking for data on a spreadsheet, there are also options to export the unit price history into that format.
As a result of the technology, the fund has streamlined its internal processes so the unit prices will now be uploaded at the same time as Quadrant Online, which will occur every Wednesday.
