Vanguard is on an expansion trail having appointed a Western Australian BDM and unveilling plans to open a Queensland office - a contrast to many other fund managers which are restructuring their teams.
Eu-Jene Teng comes to Vanguard with over nine years experience in the WA Financial Services Industry.
He recently held the position of state manager for Orchard Funds Management, after spending over six years with Macquarie Adviser Services in senior business development manager roles.
Vanguard is also planning to open a new office in Queensland, while also expanding its service offering to New South Wales and Victorian based advisers.
"Vanguard is expanding its distribution team following feedback from advisers and healthy demand for its low-cost index managed funds," said Robin Bowerman, head of retail at Vanguard Investments Australia.
"This will include opening an office in Brisbane and adding to its presence in New South Wales and Victoria along with the opening of our WA base."
Vanguard also recently announced its plans to introduce Exchange Traded Funds to Australian investors, with further news of the product line-up to be released to market soon.
