The New South Wales Electrical Superannuation Scheme has appointed Angie Mastrippolito as chief executive and deputy fund manager.
Mastrippolito takes over from Philip Hirshbein, who will retire in June 2012 and is the New South Wales Electrical Superannuation Scheme's (NESS) current fund secretary and CEO.
"It's great to have someone of Angie's calibre join the team as we work to make this transition period as seamless as possible," said Hirshbein.
Mastrippolito, who has been with NESS since March 2012, is a qualified actuary with over 29 years experience in the superannuation industry.
Before joining NESS, Mastrippolito was self-employed through professional financial services and has previously held roles with Watson Wyatt Australia, Mercer and AMP.
"It's great to be part of the NESS' team, especially when there is so much happening in the superannuation landscape," said Mastrippolito.
NESS is the industry super fund dedicated to the electro-technology industry. It has 16,000 members and $390 million in assets under management.
