ING Direct has launched a website that provides advisers with new access to client information, part of a series of changes to its multi-distribution platform.
The site provides client balances, transaction history and interest and tax details. ING Direct said it can also alert advisers when a term deposit matures and generate client listings and client records on the spot.
"This site takes a lot of previously manual processes and puts them online which, above all, will save our clients time and improve their own productivity and profitability.
"This is particularly important for advisers who have already begun their transition to a fee for service model," said Lisa Claes, executive director, distribution, ING Direct.
"This website proves our commitment to enhance our multi distribution platform. We have honed our distribution and service model in the digital space and it's a natural progression to bring the benefits of that experience to the third party frontier," said Claes.
ING Direct has $1.4 billion in funds under management.
