Count taps Clark, expands BDM network
Thursday, 26 April 2012 12:15pm

Former BT Financial Group executive Judy Clark has moved to Count Financial in the newly created role of senior executive member development.

According to a memo circulated to members on Tuesday from chief executive David Lane, Clark's team aims to provide integrated support and services to new and existing members via practice development, business development and marketing services.

Lane also revealed plans to hire an additional nine full-time employees within the team in order to further expand the business development network at Count.

"This change will mean that you all will see more of your BDMs and will experience a greater level of service from Count," the memo said.

Clark joined BT Financial in July 2007 as national manager of Wrap Advantage and exited the firm in October last year.

Previously with AM Corporation and Skandia, Clark starts with Count on Monday, April 30.

"As part of these structural changes, Lee Tonitto and Colin Simkin will be leaving the Count business. I would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge and thank them both for their significant contributions. We are continuing discussions with them in respect to their options," the memo concluded.

Tonitto, currently senior executive business development and marketing at Count in addition to her role as chair of the Australian Marketing Institute, joined the firm last year.

Simkin has been with Count for 18 years. His position is still listed as senior executive - business development on the Count Financial website.
