TAL has launched an upgrade to its online adviser portal, TAL Adviser Centre, the first phase of TAL's program to increase its online capabilities.
Enhancements to the TAL Adviser Centre include simpler page designs, content organised to complement the way advisers manage their businesses, smarter functionality and new tools and resources.
Brett Clark, TAL's chief executive of Retail Life, said the vision for the TAL Adviser Centre is to deliver online services to advisers to support their business and customer activities right through the customer lifestyle.
"We've strengthened the best parts of the TAL Adviser Centre and seamlessly introduced a range of new capabilities. As a result, it now offers even more powerful end-to-end support for advisers' businesses - from the quoting and application process, through to the administration of inforce business and claims," said Clark.
"This upgrade is the first of a multi-phase program to strengthen our online capabilities. This program is a substantial investment for TAL - and one that reflects our long term partnership vision with advisers."
TAL has simultaneously made product and underwriting enhancements to its flagship retail insurance offer, Accelerated Protection.
Enhancements to Accelerated Protection include more choices for superannuation funding of Accelerated Protection and increased flexibility with underwriting tests.
The upgrade comes with no changes to premium rates and enhancements will be passed back to all existing Accelerated Protection customers.
