Over 200 planning groups will soon have mobile phone access to portfolio administration provider Praemium's V-Wrap platform with ready access to portfolio summary and market data services.
Praemium's V-Wrap Mobile technology will provide financial planner users and clients with the platform features through their mobile phones, including the ability to order equities ion the market, after the firm asked planners what they wanted from their platforms.

"V-Wrap Mobile will make it so much easier for both advisers and their clients to access portfolio summary and market data services. Authorised users will also be able to place orders for equities directly to market using their mobile phone," said Arthur Naoumidis, chief executive, Praemium Group.
There is no charge for using V-Wrap Mobile with 20 minute delayed data.
The introduction of this new technology comes just one week after Praemium announced it would partner with life insurer, Tower Australia, to allow Tower to be the sole life insurance product provider on the platform.
Tower will pay Praemium an undisclosed fee for Tower's access and integration into its insurance and investment platforms, and the planners that use them, something Naoumidis expects all platforms to being doing by years end.
Currently around 200 planning groups use Praemium's platforms with $46 billion of assets in Australia.
