FOS appoints Belleville to board

The Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) has appointed former Suncorp executive, Robert Belleville, as director for the service.
Belleville previously worked at Suncorp as group executive of personal insurance and, prior to that, was chief executive at AAMI.
He replaces former board director, Kerrie Kelly, who resigned to take up a role as director-general of the Association of British Insurers.
The board of directors has an equal number of industry and consumer representatives. Professor Michael Lavarch acts as chair of the board.
FOS resolves disputes between consumers and financial services providers.
