Financial planners can update their clients on the performance of their portfolios in an easy to read format just in time for Christmas after Decimal launched a $5 special ‘financial health check' offer until the end of December.
The special offer allows financial planners to send clients a ‘financial health check' by email or hard copy mail for $5 per client.
Decimal launched the online financial planning system earlier this year which financial planners can use to draft statements of advice (SoA) and also to describe to prospective clients with benefits of a financial plan. The service is available to registered financial planners.
"Think about it as a novel alternative to sending a Season's Greeting card…[Decimal can] provide advisers with personalised, interactive online health check to send to clients and prospects," said Jan Kolbusz, Decimal managing director.
He said the firm is not targeting financial planning dealer groups to integrate the Decimal service at this stage. Instead, Kolbusz said Decimal wants to have a "critical mass" of financial planners using the online service before approaching large dealer groups.
Using the Decimal service, financial planners can generate alternative risk levels, investment options and the find out the impact of future events such as unemployment or having children for existing and prospective clients.
