Mercer appoints consulting director

Mercer has promoted Nick White as director of consulting, Asia Pacific.
White worked as a senior consultant across asset liability modelling projects in the UK before moving to Australia in 2004 where he took a role as head of manager research at Aon Consulting.
As director of consulting, White will oversee research strategy at Mercer and work with the global team across consulting agenda and identifying emerging trends.
"One of Mercer's strengths is having a global team that offer a depth of research in specialist markets such as dynamic asset allocation, alternatives and sovereign wealth funds and responsible investment," said Simon Eagleton, head of Mercer investment consulting.
"Nick will work closely with our Australian team…to ensure the knowledge captured in our specialised markets and across various client sectors can be applied as new ideas and innovative solutions that will ultimately assist Mercer's clients to secure stronger returns."
