Pentafin has appointed US expat Joe Vetto and ex-Challenger operations support manager Karen Chim to its IT team.
Joe Vetto, the former co-founder and vice-president of product development for Seattle-based X6 Technologies which is now Minecode, has joined as a communications specialist.
Vetto has 14 years experience in technology, and was involved in the development of the channel marketing platform at X6. Vetto will be in charge of enhancing Pentafin's client offering via the firm's partnership with Thunderhead, along with their messaging, workflow and data warehouse services.
Another Pentafin starter is Karen Chim, former operations support manager at Challenger Financial Services, who has joined as head of software engineering, with 12 years' experience in financial services.
Chim has in-depth knowledge of unit trusts, master trusts, superannuation and retirement income products.
“This has freed James Thorpe, our existing head, to concentrate on new web initiatives for the advisory and institutional markets," said McKeage.
Established in 2001, Pentafin is a leading provider of integrated administration systems including messaging, document management, data warehouse and workflow for the financial services industry.
