MyPlanner inks deal with tech provider

Independent financial advice licensee MyPlanner has become the first dealer group to partner with PractiFI.

As part of the dealer group's business-wide technology transformation strategy, MyPlanner and its adviser network will now use PractiFI's solution as its core business management platform.

The integrated platform has already dramatically improved efficiencies across the MyPlanner network, allowing its businesses to automate their workflows and foster client relationships, according to MyPlanner managing director Philippa Sheehan.

"A robust yet flexible platform provides our network of advisers the seamless solution they need to better service their clients and run their businesses," Sheehan said.

Sheehan said the dealer group had considered building its own solution but found PractiFI's offering to align best with MyPlanner's needs.

PractiFI chief executive Glenn Elliott said many licensees have been burned in the past by over-customisation, while PractiFI offers the perfect balance of functionality and configurability.

The partnership sees MyPlanner become PractiFI's first dealer group client, demonstrating the company's increasing traction in the financial advice industry.

"We've had a bumper start to the year, with some significant industry nominations and accolades and the addition of MyPlanner to the PractiFI family solidifies this," Elliott said.

He said that the company is thrilled to be working with groups who "really get the technology opportunity in the future of advice businesses."

Elliott added that further announcements as to the growth of PractiFI are expected in the coming months.

The Salesforce tool forms the foundation of PractiFI's solution.
