Infocus Wealth Management planners will deliver financial advice to over 450 offices throughout Australia via an exclusive referral arrangement with a global accounting firm.
NYSE-listed H&R Block, which opened its doors in Australia in 1971, employs over 2000 tax consultants throughout the country and prepares more than 800,000 tax returns each year. Under the referral arrangement, H&R Block accountants will refer clients looking for advice to Infocus. Infocus will manage a dedicated call centre to facilitate this.
The "initial stages of the relationship," according to Infocus, will be rolled out before June 30, and will entail H&R Block directly marketing to over 1000 clients each week. In the new financial year, H&R Block will aim to communicate with all of its Australian clients about the services provided by Infocus.
Infocus chief executive Rod Bristow described the arrangement as an "exciting opportunity aligned to our vision of providing quality advice for Australians from all walks of life."
He added: "It's an honour to be working with an organisation such as H&R Block, helping their clients achieve peace of mind through identifying and putting in place quality financial advice to achieve their goals.
"The H&R Block referral relationship meets our adviser value proposition of helping Infocus Group financial advisers grow revenue, increase efficiency and effectively manage risk in their businesses."
