The former head of research for Macquarie's wealth management business has taken on a new role at Fidelity International.
Richard Dinham joins Fidelity as head of client solutions and retirement. In this role, he will liaise with Fidelity's investment team on behalf of the group's wholesale and institutional clients to develop a range of new pre and post-retirement products.

He has also held roles at Aon, Equitable Life Assurance Society and Rolls Royce.
Long term Bond Investors Shouldn't Fear Rate Rises
At Fidelity, Dinham will report to Australia managing director Alva Devoy, who said: "Following the introduction of compulsory superannuation 25 years ago, the financial services industry has been focused of serving the needs of clients as they accumulate their retirement savings."
"As this group gets closer to retirement, we recognise that we need to respond by developing solutions that better suit their needs," Devoy said.
"Fidelity International globally offers world class investment solutions spanning equities, fixed income, real estate and multi asset. Combining this global expertise with Richard's local knowledge and experience allows us the opportunity to better meet the needs of our clients both now and into the future."
